An Experience at a Food Court/Hawker Centre (Draft 2)
Some people may think that hawker centres are way better than restaurants as they have the advantage of selling variety types of food but is it as good as what we think? I like going to hawker centre because they sell variety types of food but I do not in the same time because of how dirty it is and due to that, I would not have any appetite to eat any more.
If we compare the level of hygiene of restaurants and hawker centre, restaurants will definitely be much more cleaner as they have other workers to clean them at that point. Whereas for hawker centres, they do not have enough workers to clean at that point of time therefore the hygiene is very low.
But there are many advantages of hawker centres and the reason why many tourist and Singaporeans choose hawker centre rather than restaurants.
Firstly, they are way cheaper than restaurants and depending on which hawker centre you go, the food they are selling are way more nicer and delicious than the ones at restaurants. Secondly, they sell variety types of food so if you are craving for Western and Malay cuisine, hawker centre will be the right place. And lastly, hawker centres create a more bond with our family or with the person we are with as; when we are at hawker centre, we are allow to talk as loud as we want and laugh loudly and jokes. But when we are at restaurants, we have to mind our volume and talk softly.
((not really an experience))

The New Generation (Facets of SG)
These are the pictures of Singapore. Singapore is becoming more modern. As you can see, most of the buildings are tall. One of the reasons why Singapore do not have tornado is because of the tall buildings.

picture was taken in The Marina Bay Sands Hotel, the second picture was taken

The first

in floating platform during the National Day rehearsal and the last
picture was taken in my previous house that shows Chinatown.
I wondered what
will happen in the future. Will there be flying cars so that there will be no
traffic jams? Will the things in Singapore be more expensive? Singapore will be
the most successful country. Well, it is already successful so what will happen
to Singapore in the future?
Singapore has
amazing transportation that is the Mass Rapid Transit(MRT). The common
transportation in other countries that Singapore has too is the taxi and the
bus which is the SBS Bus Transit. Who knows there might be boats in the road in
the future?
Well, Singapore
has a very brilliant brain because they have been making amazing buildings like
the Marina Bay Sands Hotel that looks like a ship. I hope Singapore will not
deforest the forest here and also hope that the thing here will be cheaper.

Book Review
1. Title of the book and author
2. What is the plot? (Describe the main events.)
3. Did you like the book? Why did you like/dislike it?
4. What was your favourite part and why?
5. If you could change something, what would it be and why?
6. Would you recommend this book? What kind of person would enjoy this book? (E.g. brave people who like horror stories)
The tittle of the book I read on 29 June 2014 which is the June Holidays which I clearly and honestly do not understand why is there homework on holidays is Drax The Dragon Shows His True Colours. It was written by Christy Lee-O'Loughlin and illustrated by Lee Kow Fong.
The book is about a dragon who was born grey while others were born so colourful and beautiful. His mother is purple with white spots, his father is green with yellow scales and his sister is pink with pearly sparkles while he is grey. None of the dragons want to be friends with him because some are scared of him as their grandparents had told them terrifying stories of dragons who are different and some start to call him names when they see him. They kept on teasing him. One day, Drex hides under a big tree while watching the other dragons play. They blew fire-balls. propel fire-rolls, and have fire-fights all day long. Drax wishes they would play with him.
I liked the book because in the end, the other dragons wanted to be friends with him when they saw Drax roar. It was a roar of a rainbow fire and is was extremely bright, booming loud and blazing hot.
My favourite part of the book was when the other dragons wanted to be friends with him and when they realised that all dragons are the same although their appearances and looks might not look the same.
If I could change something about the book, I would change the part when Drax and his friends made friends with a dragon that peeped out from behind the three where Drax used to hide. I would only make some of them realised that all dragons are the same to see what will happen. Will they still want to be friends with them or not.
I would recommend this book to people who judges easily. To people who don't realised that everyone is the same. To people who don't realised everyone is special in their own ways too.

International Friendship Day
International Friendship Day is a day for celebrating friendships in all around the world. I think it is important to celebrate it because celebrating it shows that we appreciate our friends. On International Friendship Day, we will exchange cultures and talk about our own cultures. By this, we will learn something new on every year on this very important event. Throughout the years, it had taught me where certain things were originate from and why it was brought to certain countries. By celebrating this event too, we are showing that everyone who is from different race and religions are our friends too. No matter how dark or how light they are, they are still our friends.
Movie Review
The last movie I watched was Frozen so lets talk about it. I think Frozen is a good example kind of movie because there were two young girls who are actually sisters, called Anna and Elsa. They were playmates and friends. Elsa has a special power that can turn anything to ice and snow in a flash from her fingertips. She accidentally zaps her sister and their family went to a magical troll king. Anna's memory was erased and the sisters' relationship were not okay.
Elsa's parents locked her away and close down the castle, which devastates Anna. But once they reach adolescence and it's Elsa's turn to take over the throne at the age of 18, there were an awkward reunion. Anna was a little nervous but overjoyed to see her sister. The reserved and reluctant Elsa remains distant , and with gloved hands hoped not to freeze anything and reveal her true self on coronation day. But she inadvertently plunges the sunny kingdom into winter.
Anna retrieve her sister and restore order to the kingdom. Along the way, she got help from an underemployed ice salesman named Kristoff and his trusty reindeer sidekick, Sven. They meet up with a singing snowman named Olaf who was made by Anna. When Elsa went into a kingdom that was made from ice that was built by Anna, she zapped her heart and her heart would freeze anytime.
Kristoff and Sven went to meet their ''family'', called the magical troll king. They said that only true love could cured her and therefore, they went back to the kingdom. Kristoff and Sven went to send Elsa to the kingdom and went home. She went to meet the prince that she thought that was her true love. It ended up being that he was an evil prince and he wasn't her true love. Sven and Kristoff went back to the kingdom. Anna went back to the kingdom too. And by the time they saw Elsa, she was already frozen. Anna hugged her and said sorry. Seconds later, she defrozed and Anna was her true love.
From this story, I learned that true love not only comes from relationship but family. And Olaf, who wanted to meet summer, finally met and something I will remember that Olaf said is, ''Some people are worth melting for.''

Experienced Where I Encountered Struggles and Success (Draft 3)
Have you ever encountered struggles and success in your life? I have. Like the time my bestfriend and I fought and I made forceful effort like explaining things, writing a long message to each other and buying something to make us happy to get our friendship back and I was successful to get our friendship back to normal. I was as busy as a bee. But lets talk about my struggles and success in studies instead.
Am I the only one that has struggles when it comes to studies? Am I the only one who hates it when struggles comes when I'm learning? I've even been struggling in primary school for the past 7 years.
I've been from the smartest class, to the lowest class, to the second lowest class, to the second lowest class, to the middle class, to the third lowest class, and back to the middle class. It feels like I'm riding a rollercoaster. I am not as smart as a fox.
I never like getting U grades although I have only got it once in primary 5 for Mathematics. The feeling of getting U grades are as different as chalk from cheese than the feeling of getting B grades. But the struggles was worth of time because I graduated in primary school with an "ok" aggregate that is high for NA stream but low for express. It was totally worth it, but if only I did extra well for my Mathematics, I would already get 200+ for my aggregate for PSLE, which can bring me to a better school that has 200+ as an aggregate for express stream.
But the struggles still continues... and will always, because that's life.
